Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all Sweet Betty Co products, (“we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing from this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

The purchase of products from this website is governed by these terms and conditions. By submitting an order you agree to our company’s terms and conditions, which are based upon current main online shopping regulations. Please read them carefully as they contain important information. We reserve the right to change, modify, substitute or remove, without notice, any information on this site as necessary.

Products
All goods are subject to availability and we will endeavour to inform the customer of any items that are unavailable as soon as possible. Products may vary slightly from the described item, as each one is individually hand made.

Promotions
These terms and conditions apply for all promotions.  Discounts codes are offered for single use by one customer/email address only and according to the details of the stated offer.  The codes will be valid for a disclosed time period and after this time cannot be claimed.  More than one code or promotion cannot be applied at the same time.  Please note, that additional discounts such as free shipping will still be valid if the defined order value conditions are met.

Liability
Sweet Betty will not be liable in respect of customer or third party recipient failure to comply with product safety instructions resulting in wilful damage to/or loss of whether direct or consequential to personal property.

Breakage Claims, Incorrect Orders and Goods Not Received
If the goods supplied are damaged or are not what you ordered Sweet Betty shall have no liability to you unless you notify us of the problem within 24 hours after delivery. All original transit packaging and damaged items must be kept until the claim has been reported and appropriate action decided. Any box that arrives damaged can be signed for as such and retained (remember to report within 24 hours) or alternatively the goods can be refused and subsequently returned to us.

Notification of Breakage Claims, Incorrect Orders and Goods Not Received should be made by email to: [email protected] and it should be made clear if replacements or a refund are required. Once these conditions have been met Sweet Betty’s obligation will be to issue replacement goods for non-deliveries and damaged goods. Refunds are at the discretion of the Company.

Payments
We accept online payments via Stripe from Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Switch and Solo. All prices are inclusive of VAT and we reserve the right to amend prices otherwise stated. The total cost of your order is the price of the products plus delivery charges as quoted on the checkout page of the website and also on your order confirmation. The displayed price on the order confirmation is the amount in pounds sterling that you will pay.

Candle Making Workshops

Booking & Payment

The workshop is reserved upon receipt of payment.

The fee covers materials, instruction, and use of equipment during the session.

Cancellation & Refunds

All ticket purchases for the candle making class are non-refundable. Once booked, tickets cannot be exchanged, transferred, or rescheduled to another date. Please ensure you can attend before confirming your booking.

In the unlikely event that Sweet Betty cancels the workshop, an alternative date will be offered.

Attendance & Conduct

The workshop is limited to 6 participants; punctual arrival is essential to begin on time. We reserve the right to refuse entry to late arrivals. Please ensure you plan your journey accordingly.

Participants are expected to follow all safety instructions and behave respectfully.

We reserve the right to remove any participant behaving disruptively without refund.

Health & Safety

All participants must follow health and safety guidelines provided during the session.

Hot wax and other materials will be used, participants join at their own risk.

Any known allergies or sensitivities should be disclosed in advance.

Intellectual Property

All workshop content, techniques, and materials remain the intellectual property of Sweet Betty and may not be reproduced or taught without permission.

Liability

Sweet Betty is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage during the workshop..

Photography & Media

Photos may be taken during the workshop for promotional purposes. Please notify us in advance if you do not wish to be photographed.

Order Cancellation
You are entitled to cancel your order at any time within 14 days from date of delivery provided, you or the recipient must notify us by email: [email protected] within this period and the goods remain unused. You have a further 14 days from the date of cancellation to return the goods, provided they are in an unused condition. Should the complete order be returned, any outward shipping costs will be refunded.
You will be liable for any postage costs incurred as a result of returning an item to Sweet Betty. A refund can only be given, provided items are returned and, on inspection, are in the original condition.

Governing Law
The contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the Laws of England and Wales, and the Courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your Statutory Rights. Errors and omissions excepted. We have taken care to describe items as accurately as possible; however slight variations may occur due to the handmade nature of our products.
